URBAN ART IN
THE DIGITAL AGE
A From-Street-to-Screen Immersive Exhibition at the Grand Palais Immersif
SUPERBIEN is honored to present its collaboration with Atlas V, a world leader on immersive experience production: ‘Loading: Urban Art in the Digital Age,’ a from-street-to-screen immersive exhibition on graffiti at the Grand Palais Immersif, on view from December 6th, 2023 to July 21, 2024.
This 360˚ multi-level, multi-sensory, and totally one-of-a-kind immersive exhibition takes you on a trip through the cityscape via every kind of platform and module imaginable, on an exciting and fast-paced adventure to discover graffiti art in all its forms: walls, screens and future cities. The 20th century marked itself as the era of public mark-making, with urban art proliferating in all places it could, turning the greyest street corner into a blooming art show; the 21st provides the high-speed connecting tools to navigate these spaces from across the street to across the globe. The large-scale exhibition will open your eyes and blow your mind with the whole set to music by Roque Rivas.
Experience graffiti made from the early 2000s to today in ‘World Wild Walls’ via the all-seeing Google Street view eye; consider the graffiti of the next century, in a floating and future-fragmented setting; keep it inclusive with the Girls Graff section, showcasing women who work large-scale in this men-dominated milieu; add your own unique gesture to the fold with the graffiti simulator.
‘Loading…’ is an immersive experience not to be missed for graffiti aficionados, the graffiti-curious, and anyone who wants to know more about the world we live in, especially parts unknown. A special thank you to Atlas V and the Grand Palais Immersif for choosing to work with us on such an exciting and spanning project.
