Jaeger-LeCoultre
Musical Show
A Symphony Composed By Tøkio M¥ers
In celebration of the Golden Ratio—the formula that laid the groundwork for the timeless design of the Reverso watch—Jaeger-LeCoultre invited SUPERBIEN to help produce The Golden Ratio Musical Show, an immersive video, light and sound celebration of the brand’s revolutionary timepiece and all concepts, theorem and dreams involved in its making.
Jaeger-LeCoultre created The 1931 Cinema, celebrating the year that the watch was created, with a deep immersion into the art deco style and ambience of the time and a projection onto a giant screen of falling water.
Over the course of ten minutes, a four-part symphony—composed by Tøkio M¥ers, using the 1.168 ratio as a guide for the work’s 161.8 tempo—unfolds into a conversation and an incomparable experience about watchmaking and craft, centered around the Reverso, an icon of 20th-century design.
With segments featuring a live performance by M¥ers, this touring show includes access to the 1931 Cinema, watchmaking demonstrations, an art-deco cinema, and the looping signature ten-minute experience, and is making international stops in Los Angeles, Shanghai and London.
Thank you once again to Jaeger-LeCoultre for having faith in our capacities to bring to life the atmosphere and inspiration of the Reverso!
